Cyberhomes wins major Home Cinema award

On 1st July CEDIA, the industry body for home technology professionals, held their annual awards ceremony to recognise the very best AV projects across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The sell out event was held at the impressive Guildhall in London and the evening was hosted by popular comedian Marcus Brigstocke. Cyberhomes had been shortlisted in the BEST HOME CINEMA over £100,000 category for our Vintage Themed Cinema project. Also shortlisted were Seven Integration (UK), Synergy Technologies (Pakistan) and Trescent Lifestyles (India).
We were delighted to hear that Cyberhomes were announced as winners of the category, with the judges stating “The winner of the final home cinema category is Cyberhomes with their exceptionally designed project!”.
Cyberhomes Director Ion Smith said: “The client had a very specific brief about how the cinema room should look; the challenge for us was to deliver the latest in home cinema technology whilst retaining the vintage look. We were able to incorporate the very latest 4K resolution projector technology and Dolby® Atmos™ surround sound. The room was fully acoustically treated to ensure all the equipment performs at its maximum potential and acoustically-transparent fabrics keep all the speakers out of sight.”
Cyberhomes Director Andy Mack said: “We’re all really proud of this project at Cyberhomes, and for it to be recognised by CEDIA as an ‘exceptional design’ is very rewarding.”
