Cyberhomes is looking for an AV professional, with proven AV Project Manager to fill this customer-facing role within a well-established team.
With a number of resources available to you, including a small team of engineers, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities required to deliver projects for the Home Automation/SMART Homes and AV entertainment sector, both within a time-frame and customers’ expectations. The role would suit someone with strong communication skills, proven AV design, installation and project management experience and a commercial focus.
This is a full time permanent position primarily based at Cyberhomes’ headquarters in Thame, Oxfordshire, with a requirement for regular travel to client sites.
Develop and maintain customer relationships: Acting as the primary contact for specific clients/projects, it will be your responsibility to understand a client’s requirements and ensure their needs and expectations are met.
Oversee system specification: Oversee the design, planning, specification and implementation of equipment and cabling infrastructure to provide industry-leading systems for our clients.
Manage project installations: You will be expected to plan and manage the entire installation process, and our engineering resources, to ensure clients’ timeframes and expectations are met; all within budget.
Site management: Performing site surveys, risk assessments and attending site meetings and managing our on-site engineers.
Customer support: Provide telephone or onsite support to assist clients with the use of their systems as required.
The right candidate will be a highly-organised individual, with at least three years project management skills and an Engineering degree—and relevant AV industry experience. You will be capable of managing multiple projects at the same time that will be at varying stages of completion.
A working knowledge of the following is essential: Savant, Control4, HDMI matrix systems, TCP/IP networking, Lutron lighting control systems, Sonos, Satellite and TV distribution systems. Crestron experience would also be an advantage.
You will have extensive experience of working on construction sites and take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and the engineers you have on site.
A full clean driving licence and knowledge of the standard Microsoft Office suite are essential. Previous experience of using D-Tools will be looked upon favourably.
As well as a competitive salary, bonus scheme and company pension scheme this is a great opportunity for the right person to join a team who are fundamental to the growth of Cyberhomes’ business. You will have access to the latest technology within the AV industry and training will be provided where required.
Although primarily based in Thame, you will be expected to travel throughout the UK (with some international travel) for extended periods of time.
